GET INVOLVED
A YWAM DTS, or Discipleship Training School, is a great way to grow in your faith and learn how to serve others. Here’s what it’s all about:
Learning Phase: For about 3 months, you’ll learn from experienced teachers about topics like hearing God’s voice, spiritual warfare, God’s character, and who you are in Christ. You’ll also spend time in worship, prayer, and living in community.
Outreach Phase: After the learning phase, you’ll go on a mission trip for 2-3 months. You’ll travel to different places, often in other countries, to share God’s love through evangelism, community service, and other ministry work.
Joining a YWAM DTS helps you grow closer to God and prepares you to make a difference in the world. It’s an exciting adventure that can change your life and impact others.

In YWAM Samoa, you’ll embrace a holistic lifestyle where everything we do is spiritual! Our motto is simple: **Everything we do is spiritual.** From reading and studying the Bible to engaging in hard labor, we believe that **Work is Holy**. There’s a common misconception today that getting your hands dirty isn’t holy, but we are here to shatter that myth. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” Yes, **Work is Holy**!
When you join us, you’ll experience this divine truth firsthand. Whether it’s building, farming, or any form of labor, you’ll see how every action can glorify God. 1 Corinthians 10:31 encourages us, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
In Samoa, we’ve discovered that community involvement is incredibly effective—often more so than one-on-one evangelism. There’s a profound need in our communities, and we believe in training people to be effective in all areas of life, thereby benefiting society as a whole. Matthew 5:16 inspires us, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
