YWAM Samoa desires to train missionaries with tools they can use in the country where God would have them go. Our base runs the entry-level Discipleship Training School (DTS).

Our secondary schools include the School of Frontier Missions (SOFM),  Leadership Training School (LTS) and Discipleship Bible School (DBS).  We also hope to bring more secondary schools in the future such as the Foundations of Community Development (FCD), Introduction to Primary Health Care (IPHC) and communications.

There are several workshops we have brought in in order to train locals with sustainable technology. These workshops include: Biogas, Aquaponic/Hydroponic Technology, Water for Life, Construction, and Canoe Building.

In the past, we have run DTS workshops to ensure that we are running a quality DTS’ and understand the heart and value of every DTS that is run around the world. We have run a Principles of Community Development Workshop to prepare for the Community Development School as well.
